How it works

Start with the receipt you already have.

  1. Add a receipt

    Scan it with the camera, choose a photo, pick a PDF or image from Files, or type it in yourself.

  2. Check every line

    Amelia reads the receipt on your device. Compare the items with the original and correct anything before you save.

  3. Keep it or split it

    Keep it with your other receipts and export your data whenever you like. With Pro, assign items to people and share the breakdown.

Split

Split the check, line by line.

Amelia works out who owes what. You settle up the way you already do.

  • Item by item. Assign each item to the people who had it, share an item with everyone, or split the total evenly.
  • Tax and tip included. Add tax and tip as an amount or a percentage of the subtotal.
  • Share the breakdown. Send the original receipt with the breakdown, a short text summary, or a PDF expense report.
  • No money moves. Amelia never moves money. You decide what to send, in the payment app you already use.

Privacy

Your receipts stay on your device. Pro adds an optional cloud backup.

  • Read on your device

    Photos and PDFs are read on your iPhone or iPad.

  • Cloud backup is optional

    With Pro you choose whether to turn it on. Signing in alone does not upload your receipts.

  • You choose what to share

    A receipt or split is shared only when you pick the people or the export.

  • Simple sign-in, real controls

    Sign in with a one-time email code, Apple or Google. Export your data or delete your account from Account.
